Welcome to the kayak surfing site of Teignbridge Canoe Club. We have a growing number of new and existing members who are either learning to surf in a kayak for the first time or are expanding their kayak surfing skills, we even have members who compete at International kayak surfing competitions!!! If you are new to kayak surfing then we advise that you get to know the do's and don'ts of the surfing world. Before you take your kayak out into the surf please see our Surf Etiquette page to ensure a smooth day out on the water.
The Teignbridge Canoe Club are constantly revising their fleet of high performance (HP) and international class (IC) surf kayaks for both members and non-members to hire out, either for an afternoon or for a surf trip. You will find these listed on our Which Kayak? page. If you need to brush up on your paddle skills, or are looking for safety in numbers, check out our Training and Events page, which has details of kayak surfing lessons, trips and events.
Check out our Member Profiles for more information about our surf representative committee member Chris Jones and our Featured Member Profile. We will gradually be filling out this page with new and existing members over the coming months and years, so if you want to feature on our website just email us two paragraphs about yourself and your surfing along with a photo of you and your surf kayak.
We now have our Valley Rip in the quiver, and it already has a healthy following amongst the surfers in the club.
Experienced surfers and relative beginers have used this boat and loved it, why not come along and try it for yourself..?
